The Hamburg Chamber of Architects was founded as a public corporation on the basis of the Hamburg Architects Act (HmbArchtG), which was published in the Hamburg Law and Ordinance Gazette on 26 November1965. The tasks and structure of the Chamber are defined by the Hamburg Architects Act. The Chamber ensures that the professional qualifications of its members are constantly updated and serves the reputation of the profession in the public eye by monitoring professional duties.‍

The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the leading professional association for project management and the authority for a growing global community of millions of project professionals and individuals using project management skills. Together, these professionals and "changemakers" consistently create better results for businesses, the community and society worldwide.‍

DGNB stands for German Sustainable Building Council. The DGNB is an independent non-profit association that was founded in 2007 and has developed into Europe's largest network for sustainable construction. More than 2,300 member organisations from all areas of the construction and real estate sector have placed their trust in us. Architectural firms, planners and consultants meet builders, project developers, companies in the construction industry and product manufacturers at the DGNB. The financial sector, municipalities, associations and universities are also involved in the participatory association.‍

The EUROPEAN CERTIFICATION COUNCIL, certcouncil.eu for short, is an internationally operating certification body with partners in several countries of the European Union. certcouncil.eu certifies companies and processes according to the current standards such as ISO 9001-2015 or persons according to ISO 17024. The members of the Council have also determined that all process evaluations and audit requirements for companies and persons are not only obliged to comply with the standards, but must above all and at all times have a sustainable practical relevance, practical suitability and orientation towards real requirements‍.

The Bundesverband öffentlich bestellter und vereidigter sowie qualifizierter Sachverständiger e.V. (Federal Association of Publicly Certified, Sworn and Qualified Surveyors) is the largest association of publicly certified, sworn and qualified surveyors in Germany. The basis of the association's successful history is the high standard of qualification of our members, the nationwide representation by the regional associations and the coverage of almost all subject areas. The BVS sets clearly high hurdles with its admission and membership criteria, as the term expert is not protected by law. An important part of this is the BVS mission statement as a self-obligation of our members.

Sachverständigenkontor Hamburg has been working with Pamela Villanueva, founder of Villa Nueva ESG Real Estate Advisors, in the field of ESG property valuation since 2024. The cooperation enables a well-founded valuation of properties according to ESG criteria, including advice on green building certifications (e.g. DGNB, LEED), sustainability strategies and compliance with EU taxonomy and CSRD. This results in a holistic valuation approach that reflects the value of properties in a sustainable and future-proof manner.
